The mission of Grace Flight of America is to help people in need of free air transportation for medical and humanitarian purposes. It is our goal to remove the transportation burden from patients so they can get to specialized medical treatment not available to them locally and focus on getting well. Many of our patients do not have access to conventional transportation or are too ill to drive or fly commercially. Grace Flight is here to help!   Completely free of charge!   Grace Flight of America relies completely on volunteer pilots and donations from individuals, foundations, clubs and corporations.

 

Why Grace Flight?

Grace:  Origin: Middle English, from Old French, from Latin grātia, from grātus, pleasing

  • To be generous or helpful; goodwill
  • Mercy
  • A favor rendered by one who need not do so.

  • To show kindness and compassion

Flight:  Origin: bef. 900; ME; OE flyht; c. D vlucht; akin to Fly

  • The act, manner or power of flying
  • A soaring above or transcending ordinary bounds

Grace Flight is comprised of compassionate volunteer pilots from all walks of life dedicated to helping those needing free air tranportation for medical or humanitarian purposes.

The volume of requests for our free medical flights is steadily increasing. We can use your help to call patients to confirm medical information or to call pilots for commitments to those medical flights. Please call 972-458-0700 for more information.
